Sydnor Energy was founded in 2017 after the development of Sydnor Solar Farm (40-Arces) located in Mecklenburg County, VA. Sydnor Solar Farm was a collaborative project created as an economic stimulus and aid in the production of clean energy to Virginia’s Power Grid.

After meeting with various banks, owners James & Micheal Sydnor (US Army Vet’s), decided to form a corporation to bring the project into fruition. Sydnor Energy performs energy audits & consulting to residential homes, commercial businesses, and colleges and universities.
